PARK REGULATIONS

    • Hours of operation: Dawn to Dusk.
    • All dogs are required to be updated on Bordetella vaccinations once (1) per year and be given an annual fecal exam.  This is in addition to Rabies, DHLPP, Parvovirus and Distemper vaccinations. 
    • Dogs must wear current rabies tags, in accordance with the City of Oklahoma City Municipal Code, 2010, Chapter 8 – Animals and be up-to-date on all required vaccinations (copy to be kept on file).  We strongly recommend dogs to be on flea and heartworm preventative medicines.
    • Children must be at least ten (10) years of age to use the park.  Children 10 and over must be closely supervised by an adult and should not run, chase dogs or pet other member’s dogs unless permission is granted by the owner.
    • All dogs must be spayed or neutered to enter the park.
    • Puppies must be at least six (6) months old to enter the Park.
    • Limit of two (2) dogs per handler, four (4) per application.
    • Handlers must be at least eighteen (18) years old (unless accompanied by an adult).
    • Small-dog area is limited to dogs weighing thirty (30) Lbs. or less (elderly or handicapped larger dogs also allowed).
    • No sick dogs are allowed in the park.  Dogs must be in generally good health.
    • No tobacco, alcohol, food, rawhides, or glass containers are allowed inside the park.  Training treats are allowed.
    • No bicycles, wagons, skateboards, strollers, scooters or other personal vehicles are allowed inside the park.  Access to the park entrances are ADA compliant.  People with disabilities may use their wheelchairs, walkers, scooters and other mobility devices inside the park.  Trails within the park may be difficult to traverse for people with disabilities or those people that require assistance when walking.
    • All people entering the park do so at their own risk.  Partners for Animal Welfare of Oklahoma, Inc., City of Oklahoma City and the Oklahoma City Water Utilities Trust are not liable for any injuries.

PARK ENTRY AND EXIT PROCEDURE

    • Dogs must remain on leash until inside the double-gated holding area.
    • Holding area must be vacant before entering.
    • Unleash dog in holding area before entering Paw Park.
    • Ensure gates are closed behind you.
